Brittany Henderson is a named partner at Edwards Henderson, the Crime Victim Law Firm, and is licensed to practice in Florida, New York, and Washington, D.C. She exclusively represents survivors in complex civil litigation nationwide and has helped secure well over $500 million in jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of victims. She is the co-author of Relentless Pursuit: My Fight for the Victims of Jeffrey Epstein released by Simon & Schuster in March 2020.
Notable Verdicts
Beginning in 2015, Brittany played a role in securing a landmark ruling from the Southern District of Florida confirming that the United States violated the rights of Epstein’s victims by entering into a secret Non-Prosecution Agreement despite evidence of widespread sexual abuse of minor children. Just one year into her legal career, she was recognized for obtaining one of the Top 50 Jury Verdicts in the United States in a high-profile 2016 federal sexual abuse case in Chicago. In 2018, her team secured a $71 million verdict in Florida state court under federal maritime law on behalf of a young woman who was sexually assaulted while working as a crew member aboard a large yacht.
Landmark Litigation
Brittany has remained at the forefront of some of the most significant survivor-rights litigation in the country. In 2020, she was instrumental in the creation and opening of the Epstein Victims’ Compensation Program, which provided a path for survivors of Jeffrey Epstein to obtain compensation without the need for court intervention. In 2023, she was part of the first legal team to hold major banking institutions accountable for facilitating sex trafficking, resulting in a combined $365 million settlement with JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank on behalf of survivors of Jeffrey Epstein. In 2026, that same team reached a similar resolution with Bank of America for $72.5 million.
Advocacy
Beyond the courtroom, Brittany has helped reshape the national conversation around sexual abuse, trafficking, and institutional accountability. Through her representation of more than 200 survivors of Jeffrey Epstein, she has helped amplify the voices of women who were denied justice for years and has brought national attention to the systemic failures that allowed abuse to continue unchecked. In 2025, she worked alongside members of Congress to support passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act and has continued to advocate for the protection of survivor identities following large-scale government document releases that exposed the names and personally identifying information of more than 100 victims.
Leadership & Recognition
Brittany has also worked to build lasting support systems for survivors outside of litigation. She assisted her client, Epstein survivor Virginia Roberts Giuffre, in establishing what is now the SOAR Foundation, and she serves on the board of CHILD USA. She is also a founder of The Survivors, Inc., a nonprofit created by survivors of Jeffrey Epstein to support and empower other victims of sexual abuse through survivor-led life coaching and peer support. Her work has been recognized nationally through honors including selection as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and to the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.
Media
Brittany has appeared on ABC News, NBC News, and Fox News and was featured in Lifetime’s Surviving Jeffrey Epstein and Netflix’s Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich. She has spoken nationally on issues involving sexual abuse and human trafficking, including as a keynote speaker at CrimeCon Las Vegas and for the National Crime Victim Bar Association. Her work has also been featured in and quoted by major national publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, USA Today, Forbes, Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, and People.
